In my opinion 3 is still the best one that I've played because of its consistency, and the innovation it had as basically the first of its kind considering how far apart it is from Far Cry 2. Edit: It also has the best track in the series: I'm sorry Although I'll say 5 has a better overall soundtrack. 5 is a far slicker game. 3 started this version of the far cry series’ gameplay and has an incredible setting and set of protagonists. Bit clunky for 2021 but a great game. As for 5 being shit, it’s the cleanest gameplay of the series, but the story and associated mechanics were a bit of a let down.
